This picture list includes golf courses set in some of the most scenic locations in Scotland. These are just the courses near where we are based. 

We arrange golf holidays on most of the courses around Scotland so if you don't see where you want to play on our list please contact us and the chances are will be able to arrange it for you.

The following examples combine stunning settings with challenging golf and are typical of the choice of courses in our packages. Unfortunately there is not enough room on this page to include pictures of all the fantastic golf courses in Scotland.

Probably the most famous golf course in the world. Almost every professional golfer has walked over the bridge and down the 18th fairway. Jack Nicklaus once said that it is the only golf course in the world where the finishing hole is right down the main street!

Carnoustie Golf Course

We surely don't have to tell you about Carnoustie. It has the reputation as being one of the toughest golf links in the world, although a long course, it is not for the big hitter, with judgement of wind and distance critical, every tee shot requires careful placement. Carnoustie is the venue for the 2007 British Open.

For those who are addicted to the game of golf, Gleneagles offers the chance to play on the world's most picturesque courses. 

There are four courses to choose from - the King's, the Queen's, or the nine hole Wee Course and the exceptional PGA Centenary Course designed by Jack Nicklaus, which is the Ryder Cup venue 2014yr.

Blairgowrie Golf Course

There are two eighteen hole courses at the Blairgowrie Golf Club. In addition there is an excellent 9 hole course - The Wee Course - so it is easy to arrange a full day's golf at Blairgowrie. 

The Rosemount is a beautiful heathland course lined with forest of pine and silver birch, and is one of the most admired in this area.

Greg Norman won his first ever European tour event on this course.

Dunkeld Golf Cours Birnam Golf Course Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Course:

Founded in 1862 this course is one of the hidden gems and is one of the most picturesque in Perthshire with each hole affording a new and interesting challenge. The ever changing views of the surrounding countryside are quite spectacular.

A challenging course right in the heart of the City Of Perth with magnificent views across the Tay Valley and northwards to the Grampian Mountains

An exciting championship golf course situated near the beautiful City Of Perth with large undulating greens protected by white sand bunkers, set in majestic mature woodland.

 

Lynedoch

The second course at Murrayshall, set in natural landscape surrounded by wild flower meadows and magnificent scots pine woodland.

Taymouth Castle Taymouth Castle Golf Course

A fairly open course with some excellent holes, Taymouth Castle is surrounded by stunning scenery and views that few courses can equal. It's another one of these hidden gems.
